Hi there! I’m Kari,

About
fashion materials

Welcome to Kari’s world, where comfort meets creativity and fashion becomes a statement of self-love. My journey began at age 10, watching my late grandma behind her sewing machine. As a shy child, I found joy in hand-sewing outfits for my Barbie dolls, using my Mama’s leftover fabrics. It was a slow and often tricky process, but it was my way of creating a world where imagination met reality.

One day, eager to create faster than my hand stitches allowed, I decided to try the electric machine myself. Little did I know how painful needles could be! Luckily, my Mama arrived just in time to save me from a prick—and was impressed by my courage.

From that moment, I fell in love with making clothes that did not require women to “suffer for beauty.” Instead, I strive to shift this idea to “bliss and beauty,” a much less complicated way to feel fabulous. The fashion industry is ever-changing, and shaped by lifestyle shifts and social pressures. Yet, women are constantly judged and scrutinised by what society dictates as deemed appropriate dress codes to align with their faith.

Inspired by the modest elegance of the East and the rich vibrant colours of our surroundings, I aim to celebrate femininity through garments that make women feel proud, comfortable, and free. If my love for fashion is felt by the one who wears my designs comfortably and confidently, then I believe I have conquered the future of modesty.
